The legendary Happy Meal is undergoing a facelift that the corporate giant McDonald’s hopes will place them as a leader in the attempt to help curb the massive childhood obesity problem in the United States and abroad. Human adipose tissue was shown to be a very attractive source of mesenchymal stromal cells that have a wide scale of potential applications in reconstructive plastic surgery and regenerative medicine. However, these cells were described to have profound effects on biological behaviour of tumour cells. Conclusion: This study shows that a short soft palate is associated with VPI after Le Fort I osteotomy.
